Buyer's Guide

Best channel loyalty platforms in India (2026)

Every vendor in this category calls itself an end-to-end channel loyalty platform, which makes shortlists harder rather than easier. The useful question is not who has more features — it is what each product was originally built to do, because that is what it still does best. This is our attempt at an honest map of the category, published by a company that competes in it.

Comparing channel loyalty platform dashboards during a vendor evaluation

Key takeaways

  • The category contains at least four different products wearing one label: influencer scan-to-earn platforms, anti-counterfeit-first platforms, enterprise consumer-loyalty suites, and rewards-fulfilment marketplaces.
  • Match the vendor's origin story to your problem. A platform built for retail consumer loyalty will do B2C beautifully and struggle with an electrician in a basement with no signal.
  • Nobody in this category publishes real pricing. Expect per-MAU or percentage-of-disbursement models and get quotes from three vendors before believing any of them.
  • The evaluation criteria that predict year-two survival are payout reliability, code integrity, 194R handling and exit terms — none of which appear in a demo.

Four products, one category name

Before comparing vendors, work out which of these you are actually buying. Most disappointing implementations are a mismatch here rather than a bad product.

The vendors Indian manufacturers actually shortlist

Almonds AI

Founded 2020, channel loyalty and rewards with a stated emphasis on AI-driven personalisation, gamified partner education and online events for channel partners including retailers, drivers and mechanics. Reported FY24 revenue of ₹35 crore and raised ₹16 crore in seed funding backed by the promoters of Haldiram's and JITO Incubation. If partner education and event-led engagement are central to your programme, they have built more around that than most.

Genefied

Founded 2018, anti-counterfeiting first, with loyalty and digital warranty built on top of the same QR identity. Products include Rewardify, Scan & Win, DWAM and SupplyBeam, and they have published partnerships with Century Plyboards and Lancer. If your board's primary concern is counterfeit product rather than channel engagement, a verification-first architecture is a coherent choice — the trade-off is discussed in anti-counterfeit platform versus loyalty platform.

LoyaltyXpert

Launched 2017, Ahmedabad-based, SaaS aimed at manufacturers and B2B brands. Publishes support for more than ten Indian languages, dual wallets, gamification, real-time sales tracking, and AI detection of duplicate bills and suspicious scan patterns. A direct competitor to us on the manufacturer B2B use case and a credible shortlist entry.

Capillary Technologies

The largest Indian-origin loyalty company by some distance, built around consumer loyalty for retail and enterprise brands. Deep segmentation, campaign and omnichannel capability. If you need one platform for both consumer loyalty and channel loyalty and the consumer side is the bigger prize, this is the serious option. If your programme is entirely tradesmen and retailers, you are buying a great deal of capability you will not use — see enterprise suite versus specialist platform.

Xoxoday (Giift)

A rewards, incentives and engagement group whose suite spans LoyaltyCore, Marketplace, GiiftBox, Empuls and Compass, working across customers, employees, sales teams and channel partners, with a stated 5,000+ companies and Giift operating in 55+ countries. Their strongest card is rewards fulfilment breadth. If your bottleneck is what you can give members and how quickly it lands, rather than scan validation, they are a strong fit — the category distinction is in channel loyalty versus employee rewards platforms.

Novus Loyalty and NextBee

Both offer B2B and distributor loyalty with configurable point rules, sell-in and sell-out rewards and partner portals. NextBee publishes single sign-on with partner credentials, CRM integration and flexible point rules by product, category and time of sale. Reasonable options where the programme is distributor and dealer tiers rather than a large field influencer base.

Unotag

Us. Founded 2019 in Bengaluru, channel-first by construction — the whole company is built around Indian trade channels rather than adapted to them. Around 5 million members, ₹100 crore-plus disbursed, WhatsApp-first enrolment, one QR doing verification and reward together, native Section 194R handling, and a reward services layer with a 10,000-plus product catalogue and co-branded reloadable cards. Where we are the wrong answer: if you need a consumer CRM for a D2C brand, or your programme is purely large distributors with no field tier, you should be looking at the enterprise suites above.

That pricing column is worth staring at. We publish a band on our pricing page; almost nobody else in the category publishes anything. That is not an accusation — enterprise software rarely does — but it means every comparison you read, including this one, is missing the number that will actually decide your shortlist. Get three quotes.

The criteria that predict year two

Demos are about screens. Programmes fail on the parts nobody demos. Ask every vendor, including us:

  1. What percentage of payouts fail on first attempt across your live accounts, and what is the retry success rate?
  2. Show me a real member ledger with a Section 194R deduction on it, identifiers removed.
  3. What happens to a scan made offline in a basement, and how many fail to sync in a month?
  4. How many support tickets per 100 monthly active members do your accounts average, and in how many languages do you answer?
  5. Can we tune fraud thresholds ourselves, and can suspicious claims be held for review rather than hard-blocked?
  6. If we leave, what do we get back — member records, ledger history, unredeemed liability, code databases — and in what format?

The last one matters most and is asked least. Member data and unredeemed point liability are the two assets a programme accumulates over years, and both should be unambiguously yours.

Our honest summary

  • Counterfeit is the board-level problem → look hard at Genefied, and at us if loyalty is a co-equal goal.
  • Consumer loyalty is the bigger prize → Capillary.
  • Rewards fulfilment is the bottleneck → Xoxoday / Giift.
  • Partner education and events lead the programme → Almonds AI.
  • Distributor and dealer tiers only → LoyaltyXpert, Novus, NextBee.
  • Large field influencer base plus retailers, in Indian languages, with tax and payouts that have to just work → this is what we built, and what we would argue for.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the best channel loyalty platform in India?

There is no single best, because the category contains four different products under one name: influencer scan-to-earn platforms, anti-counterfeit-first platforms, enterprise consumer loyalty suites, and rewards fulfilment marketplaces. Match the vendor's origin to your actual problem — most disappointing implementations are a mismatch rather than a bad product.

Who are the main channel loyalty software companies in India?

The vendors Indian manufacturers most often shortlist are Almonds AI, Genefied, LoyaltyXpert, Capillary Technologies, Xoxoday Giift, Novus Loyalty, NextBee and Unotag. They differ mainly in what they were originally built for, which is still what each does best.

How much does a channel loyalty platform cost in India?

Most vendors in this category do not publish pricing. Unotag publishes a band of ₹30,000 to ₹3 lakh a month depending on monthly active users and modules. Common commercial models are per monthly active user, a percentage of reward value disbursed at roughly 1 to 4%, or a fixed licence plus implementation. Get three quotes.

What should I ask a channel loyalty vendor that they will not expect?

First-attempt payout failure rates across their live accounts, a real member ledger showing a Section 194R deduction, what happens to a scan made offline in a basement, support tickets per 100 monthly active members and in how many languages, whether fraud thresholds are tunable, and exactly what data you get back if you leave.

Is an anti-counterfeit platform the same as a loyalty platform?

No, though they overlap because both can run on the same QR identity. An anti-counterfeit-first platform optimises for serialisation, traceability and verification; a loyalty-first platform optimises for enrolment, engagement, payouts and tax. If both matter, the strongest design is one QR that verifies and rewards in the same scan.

Should I choose an enterprise suite or a specialist channel platform?

An enterprise suite makes sense when consumer loyalty is the bigger prize and channel loyalty is secondary, since you get one vendor for both. A specialist makes sense when your members are tradesmen and retailers, because field enrolment, offline scanning, Indian-language support and instant small payouts are the whole job rather than a module.

Is this comparison biased?

Yes, and deliberately transparent about it — Unotag publishes it and competes in this category. Everything stated about other companies comes from their own public material and published press as of August 2026. We have tried to say plainly where each competitor is the better answer, including where we are not.
